We are converting an old Car Shed into an Art Studio of dreams, her name is Xanadu

Xanadu

noun - an idealized place of great or idyllic magnificence and beauty.

We begin back in June 2021, it’s the first time i ever met Xanadu, you can’t quite see it but my arms are crossed and i have a big frown on my face.

“oh fecking dear’ i am thinking to myself.

I’m going to take you on a little tour of our project so far.

Our aim is to create an Art Studio that is completely off-grid and sourced from as many recycled and sustainable materials as possible

I wouldn’t see Xanadu again until November when we finally move in and this is how i find her, she is a mess, a beautiful mess, my most exciting canvas, my biggest project, my Xanadu Art Studio dream.

By June the dream windows are sourced for mother fluffing FREE from kind neighbours who were going to throw them out, and a local builder installed them with the aid of my father-in-law Rob along with the old wood burner from the house to help warm her up in the cold Winter of the Valley.
