Elen and the Amanitas - A4 Archival Artist Print by Faerie Sarah
$35.00
Elen and the Amanitas
The original illustration was inspired by the red and white Amanita Muscaria or Fly Agaric mushrooms that burst out of the earth in the park I celebrate the witches wheel in this Samhain 2020. It was the most magnificent way to celebrate the earth, the trees, the faerie kin, sitting amongst the Amanitas in awe and wonder just by their very proximity to me.
I drew the Amanitas as an illustration exercise from photographs I took at the park and the more i drew and contemplated them the more they drew me in. It was the amanitas who showed me the figure sitting with them connecting to them and as i drew her she became Elen of The Ways, an ancient goddess of the reindeers and Celtic Shamanic pathways to faeries and mushroom spirits.
This beautiful limited edition A4 art print measures 21 x 29.7 centimetres on 310gsm cotton rag fine art paper in archival inks.
The print is sealed in tissue and shipped in a stiff cardboard enclosure to prevent bending
