I share a picket fence with my beloved neighbours and as pickets need replacing I take the old and paint on them, I LOVE painting on recycled surfaces so much and I love the fact that this wood has had time in our garden, on the edge, the periphery, a magik space.
I love that it was a tree, it was a fence, its now a painting.
The imagery of the Sun and Moon is inspired by my childhood bedroom i absolutly love the 90's sun and moon imagery taht was on everything! I still have a piece of my sun and moon bed spread fabric that i now cut up to make magik items with!
